Tomas Reyes built this team from the ground up in 2013, and every person here has been chosen for one reason: they’ll treat your house the way they’d want their own mother’s house treated. I’ve been in Johns Creek homes since before the city incorporated its own police department. Started CleanRun in 2013 after watching too many homeowners pay for duct “cleaning” that amounted to a shop vac in a register and a handshake. I hold the NADCA Air Systems Cleaning Specialist certification and personally train every technician on our equipment roster: Rotobrush for contact cleaning, Nikro and Abatement Technologies for negative-pressure extraction (that’s the suction method that pulls debris out without letting it escape into your living room), and Honeywell, Aprilaire, and Guardsman components for air quality upgrades. I live in the area, my kids go to school here, and I still climb into attics when a duct run has a tricky elbow near the water heater. The thing that keeps me up at night isn’t competition, it’s the memory of a 2019 job in Country Club of the South where the previous homeowner’s “recent service” left three inches of construction debris in the plenum box. Marcus T., Senior Installer & Duct Repair Specialist
Marcus joined us in 2017 after eight years doing commercial HVAC install work for a contractor out of Alpharetta. He brought with him a stubborn habit that we now require of everyone: he photographs the inside of every duct run before touching it, even when the homeowner isn’t watching. His specialty is duct repair and sealing, particularly the older flex-duct systems common in Johns Creek subdivisions built between 1990 and 2005. He’s EPA Section 608 certified for refrigerant handling and has completed advanced training on Aeroseal application, though he’ll tell you straight that not every home needs it. On weekends he’s usually fishing the Chattahoochee or arguing with his brother about Falcons draft picks. Elijah R., Apprentice Technician
Elijah started with us in 2022, fresh out of Gwinnett Technical College’s HVAC program. He’s working toward his NADCA certification and currently operates under direct supervision on every job, though he’s already developed a reputation for fitting into attic spaces that Marcus claims are “impossible.” His current specialty is dryer vent cleaning, particularly the long runs through multi-story homes in Newtown Park and the St. Ives area where lint accumulation creates genuine fire hazards. Elijah asks more questions than any apprentice we’ve had, which is exactly why we hired him. He lives with his grandmother in a 1987 ranch home near Abbotts Bridge Road and has already identified three duct issues in her system that previous services missed.
