Pet Hair Matting in a Windward Community Home
This Windward community home had two German shepherds and a golden retriever, with grooming done indoors. The return air pathway (the ductwork that pulls air back to the furnace for reconditioning) was matted with hair to roughly 40% occlusion at the grille face. We removed the register, extracted the mat with a rotary brush system, and treated the remaining duct run with a sanitizing application using Guardsman-formulated products.
